Nursery

This project aims at introducing contemporary art and related practices into local elementary schools. Thus the pupils will develop a knowledge and hopefully a know how that may make more current cultural practices easily accessible.
Resident artists (i.e. those invited for the Portfolio Program) will be called upon to interact with the pupils. They may develop specific projects to be carried out in the shool or invite a class for a special workshop at ArtBakery. Or develop a training program for teachers.

The Bonendale/Douala public school is an ideal location for the launching of Nursery.
